Pre-authorisation

For a pre authorisation we will need the following details from you:

  • Symptom details
  • Onset date
  • Diagnosis details (if known)
  • Treatment details (with procedure codes if known)
  • Treatment date
  • Provider details (name, contact number, D.O.B)
  • Duration of stay at hospital

Once we have the above information we will then contact your insurance provider. For us to get the procedure pre authorised it should take approximately 24 hours. Most insurance companies will usually authorise treatment for In Patient treatment, day case surgeries/procedures, CT scans and MRI scans. Out-patient consultations like pathology and radiology will usually not be authorised by your insurance companies.
